Amazing Athletes is a developmental physical fitness program for children. Our fun, active classes encourage kids to explore and develop a variety of athletic skills through the introduction of 10 different sports. Coaches break the fundamentals of each sport down into simple steps based on each child’s age and ability. The goal is to create a fun environment that establishes lifetime connections to sports and physical activity. Adult/parent participation is required for all children under 3. The Winter Break Day Camp runs concurrently with the Upper Arlington Schools Winter Break, providing a valuable service for those families in which both parents work. Children can enjoy a variety of activities including arts and crafts, games, quiet recreation, movies, library visits and field trips. Qualified leaders at an approximate ratio of 15:1 staff the program. Participants should bring a packed lunch daily and an afternoon snack. Winter Break Day Camp fees (registration & daily) are non-refundable, non-transferrable and cannot be credited to a household account. Program is subject to cancellation if insufficient participation by December 5th. Select the days you wish to register for below, you must register for each day your child wishes to attend. This developmental league is for girls and boys ages 7-14. It is designed to develop the basic skills of volleyball (passing, setting, serving, blocking, and hitting) and game play. All practices and games will be held on Tuesdays with the first 30 minutes being practice, followed by the game. Every participant will receive a team t-shirt.

Can you dig it? Be a paleontologist for a day. At our hands-on archeology "dig site", little ones enjoy the thrill of discovery as they jump right in and dig up dinosaur bones and fossils that may be thousands of years old. Dino Diggers also enjoy dinosaur crafts and activities. Come out and enjoy a day of all things dinosaur! Dress for some mess!

Your little one needs to get out and get moving and you need a sports program just right for their size. Search no more, this child centered sports program caters to toddlers and preschoolers. Each week, class begins with kid friendly warm ups and exercises. We then introduce the shorties to individual skills, equipment and simple rules of a different sport every week. Coaches praise and encourage children while helping them develop coordination, teamwork and confidence. Each session concludes with games, obstacle courses and cool downs to keep kids engaged and moving throughout the session. Adult/parent participation is required for anyone who wishes to remain in the class and for all children under age 3

Bally Sports Group’s Little Sluggers is a great introduction to the game of baseball for young children. Using age-appropriate activities, players will be introduced to the fundamentals of baseball in an atmosphere that is supportive, fun and prevents children from feeling pressured. Each week, the program will include an instructional portion that will introduce players to batting, base running, fielding, throwing, and catching. A modified game will also be played each week. Parent participation is strongly encouraged to allow the program to run smoother. The Little Sluggers T-Ball Program will provide your child with a fun and positive t-ball experience that will encourage future participation!

Bally Sports Group's Minor League Baseball is a great introduction to coach-pitch baseball for beginning baseball players. The instructional portion of the program utilizes developmentally appropriate drills with modifications and/or progressions implemented when necessary, helping every child improve their baseball skills despite their current abilities. Skills taught will include batting, fielding, throwing, and catching. The program will also include a modified, non-competitive game each week. As the weeks progress, new aspects of the game/game scenarios will be added to allow children to learn within the context of the game. Children will be able to use a Tee during the game if they are having difficulty hitting a pitched ball. Parent Participation is welcomed in this program.

Learn dance basics, choreography, coordination, and more - all set to Kpop music! Kpop is fun, happy, and wholesome music that is perfect for kids. This class consists of a warm-up, dance routine, and freestyle dance party at the end of each class. Parents will receive a playlist so kids can practice at home to songs that will quickly become their Kpop favs.

This class is designed to teach toddlers Spanish vocabulary with parental interaction through fun play, activities, songs, crafts, dance and games while constantly interacting with children their own age. With our carefully developed curriculum, unique immersion methods, small class sizes of six-eight children and our excellent team of native-speaking Spanish teachers, your child be on the fast track to proficiently learning Spanish in a fun and engaging environment.

This is the perfect class to introduce babies, toddlers and young kiddos to yoga. We explore fun yoga poses and learn about breath and movement while incorporating fun yoga books. This is a great bonding experience for the kiddos with their caretakers. Great for all energy level kiddos and helps build a foundation of yoga tools to use as they get older. This program is for both adult and child but you only need to register the child.

This class helps children start the process of unwinding before bedtime. They are provided with poses, breathing techniques and bedtime stories to help decompress for the evening. Kiddos can even come dressed in their PJs and bring their favorite stuffed animal!

This class includes guest speakers from the local Police Division as your child learns the skills to be a Better Baby Sitter. All students receive their own first aid kit to take home. This class is interactive and fun with role play and hands-on instruction.

BalletMet's Intro to Ballet class offers students a fun, nurturing environment to learn the basics of ballet! Our highly trained teachers encourage imagination, self-expression, and group interaction while introducing basic ballet techniques and musical concepts.

When the weather turns cold, kids still need opportunities to get out and get active. Our superhero "boot camp" engages your child's inner superhero in every colorful and engaging class session. This course teaches the rules and basic techniques of foil fencing. Learn how to lunge, parry, riposte and disengage, and apply your skills during actual fencing bouts. Wear clothing suitable for

Come join UA Parks and Rec in a one day basketball camp featuring top local coaches Tim Casey, Matt Weikert, John Wanke, Matt Biedenbach, Brian Cromwell and Eric Van Cleave. A high level/fun experience catered to helping kids fundamentally understand the game a little bit better than when they walked in door. Participants will get ball handling drills, shooting drills and competitive play. Participants will be split up into age appropriate groups. Please bring a snack, water bottle and basketball.

Have a great time learning the sport of volleyball in the Bally Sports Group Volleyball Program! Throughout the duration of the program, participants will learn a wide variety of skills including passing, setting, blocking, and serving. Older players will also work on spiking. Each week will include modified games that help players learn spacing on the volleyball court, communication with teammates, and moving to the ball.
