This league consists of coed pickleball teams that play on Sundays and separate men's and women's teams for individuals 50 and over on Fridays, traveling for matches throughout Central Ohio. Start times for matches vary and start between 11 am to 3 pm on Sundays or 9 am to 10:30 am on Fridays at the various locations. Home matches are played at Thompson Park on Sundays or Fancyburg Park on Fridays. On rain dates, matches would take place indoors; nominal entrance fee may apply for indoor play. Matches are held June 2 to July 28 for Sundays and May 31 to July 26 for Fridays. There are no matches July 7 or July 5 due to the holiday weekend. A play-off of the top teams in each division level takes place on August 4 for Sundays and on August 2 for Fridays. You can choose to participate on both Sundays and Fridays if interested. Players of all levels can choose from two divisions on Fridays either for men or for women aged 50 and over of any level. Players interested in Sunday play can choose from four division levels based on their player rating. The Level 1 division consists of players with ratings between 2.5-2.9. The Level 2 division consists of players with ratings between 3.0-3.5. The Level 3 division consists of players with ratings between 3.6-4.1. The Level 4 division consists of players with ratings at 4.2 and higher. To self-rate, visit the USA Pickleball website and view the Player Skill Ratings rubric. Cost is $36 per person for residents who live/work in UA and $43 for non-residents. Couples welcome on the same team, but sign up each person participating. Limited team roster availability.
