Spend time with trees and your mom! Bring your mom (or mother figure) to a Tree Planting and Young Tree Care 101 class. Learn the basics of proper tree care, from selecting the right tree to proper planting and pruning techniques. Learn how to raise young trees from seedlings all the way to adulthood. Participants help plant trees at the park (equipment provided). Moms receive a small to medium native tree sapling to take home and plant in their yard to celebrate Mother’s Day. Tea, coffee and scones are provided with registration, along with mom’s sapling. Register mom only (not entire family) and note the total people in your family/group attending.
