Bring your ideas to life in this popular option for budding engineers who love LEGOs. The program has 3 options, a full day session, a morning session and an afternoon session. In the morning, participants learn 'rapid prototyping', a technique that involves quickly building prototypes of invention ideas using LEGO Robotics, cardboard, LEGOs and 3D printers. Participants design and build custom inventions with the help of their instructor and then present their prototypes to a Shark Tank style panel. Students will also complete robot challenges. The afternoon session focuses on building and programming robots. Students learn to program BattleBots in Scratch programming language using sensors and logic for a fun Arduino LEGO Robot BattleBot championship. Students who register for the full day program have a supervised lunch break between sessions.
